  2. Would it be personification if Georgie was talking to the rosebush as if it were real?

    1. It's only personification if the non-human object has human characteristics. So if it said that the rosebush answered back or nodded in agreement or something like that, it would be personification. Georgie simply talking to it is NOT. Does that make sense?
